reports that the 31-year-old is in talks with Arsenal over extending his contract beyond this summer. The midfielder, who can also play at right-back, looked set to run down his contract and head for pastures new in the coming months but that may change now.

The report adds that it long seemed as though Partey would leave Arsenal at the end of the season but his resurgence has left head coach Mikel Arteta and the club keen to extend his stay at the Emirates. While Partey is 'happy' with the Gunners and his family enjoy living in London, there is no guarantee he will extend his stay.
